Kosta Boda

Kosta Boda is one of the world’s leading brands of glassware and art glass. Technology and an understanding of glass have been refined in the forests of the Swedish province of Smaland ever since 1742.

Göran Wärff (1933-2022) first went to Kosta Boda as a designer in the mid 60's. From 1974 to 1985 he lived and worked in Australia and the United Kingdom. He has a link with National Glass Centre as he helped set up what is now the BA Hons Glass and Ceramics course based here at the Glass Centre. His work is held in all major museum collections of glass.
